I wanted to become a teacher in Lithuania and I was getting along with the kids so well during my practise. It was fun too. But I also wanted to earn money, so I ended up not doing it. And one of the politicians even said that you cannot expect to earn a 1000€ a month at a job that has 3 months of vacation. The government is so out of touch with the reality it's painful.

Come to Serbia, you will get ~400e/month + another 50ish/e if you are a class teacher ( or w/e it is called in English ). Rent will be 60-150e + bills ( depending on the town you are living at ). That roughly leaves you with 200e/mo for food and additional expenses. Good luck.
